About us

Welcome to Oak Ridge Pathways

At Oak Ridge Pathways, we provide a compassionate, structured, and supportive living environment for youth ages 7–17 who need stability, understanding, and guidance. We believe every child deserves a home where they feel valued, protected, and encouraged to thrive—no matter their past circumstances.

We are committed to helping each young resident rewrite their story with hope, confidence, and opportunity.

Our Purpose

We exist to provide a safe, caring, and consistent home for boys who have experienced trauma, instability, or challenges that require specialized support. Through a combination of structured routines, trauma-informed care, mentorship, and individualized services, we help our youth develop the tools they need to succeed in school, relationships, and life.

Our Values

Safety

Providing a secure environment where our youth feel physically and emotionally safe.

Empowerment

Equipping our residents with the tools to navigate life’s challenges and make positive decisions.

Growth

Supporting educational, emotional, and personal development through comprehensive care and mentoring.

Compassion

We treat all residents with dignity, respect, and kindness.

Our Philosophy

We believe that healing happens through:

  • Stability and consistency

  • Positive relationships

  • Structure and accountability

  • Emotional safety

  • Teaching, not punishing

  • Celebrating progress, no matter how small

Our youth deserves the opportunity to grow into a healthy, confident, and responsible person. Our home is built on respect, compassion, and the belief that every child can overcome adversity with the right support.

Positive Role Models

Oak Ridge Pathways has a major role in shaping the life of a young person, especially a child navigating challenges or uncertainty.

Mentorship

Children thrive when they have someone who believes in them, listens without judgment, and consistently shows what respect, responsibility, and resilience look like in everyday life.

24/7 Supervision

Around-the-clock staff presence provides structure, stability, and immediate assistance whenever a need arises.

Safe Environment

Constant supervision creates a safe environment where our residents can thrive.

Family-Style Home Environment

Creates a sense of belonging, stability, and warmth that is essential for a child’s emotional and social development.

Supportive Living Environment

A family-style home emphasizes routine, shared responsibilities, and meaningful relationships—helping our residents feel like they are part of a real family.

Crisis Intervention

Helping each young person build resilience, emotional awareness, and confidence in their ability to manage future challenges.

Emotional Intelligence

The goal is not just to stop the crisis, but to help the child feel understood, regain control, and learn healthier ways to cope.
